Werner
Hierzer has been a marionettist since 1975. His years of experience
manufacturing marionettes, designing lighting and developing stage
techniques
make him well placed to convey a wealth of theatrical expertise.
The art of string puppetry is trained using the little German flat
cross. Puppetry is oriented around the centre of the
marionettist’s body – the marionette puts it in
balance.
Both individual lessons and one-week courses are available.
We offer workshops on making marionettes, lighting design and light
painting on stage. We also offer comprehensive technical consultancy
for setting up stages.
